The sudden passing of Amanda Welch, affectionately known as Mandy, has left a void in the hearts of many. On August 23rd, 2022, just one day after the birth of her baby girl, Rachelle Daisy Green-Welch, Mandy departed this world. Her radiant smile, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit touched everyone who crossed her path.
A Life of Creativity and Resilience
Mandy’s journey began with the launch of her jewelry store, PACHULAH, at Uptown in 2016. Her handcrafted necklaces and stunning designs quickly caught the attention of local and international buyers. In 2018, she expanded her business to Waikiki, showcasing her passion for creativity and entrepreneurship.
A Heartfelt Tribute
Mandy’s husband, Daniel Welch, shared a heartfelt tribute on the company’s Facebook page: “You were the most incredible, talented, breathtakingly beautiful woman, and the impact you had on so many people was astounding.” The Uptown community also mourns her loss, remembering her positive light and presence.
Mandy’s legacy lives on through her 22-month-old son, Dante. Her uncle, Murray Sharrat, launched a GoFundMe campaign to support Dan and Dante during this difficult time. The funds raised will help them navigate life without Mandy, whose infectious smile and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
