She moved to Arizona in 1986 and pursued her career as a bodybuilder and personal trainer. She competed in several bodybuilding shows, such as the NPC USA Championships, the NPC Nationals, and the IFBB North American Championships. She won the NPC Masters Nationals in 2004 and earned her pro card. She also appeared in several fitness magazines, such as Muscle & Fitness, Flex, and Iron Man.

Lynn McCrossin was married twice and had two children, Lyndsay and Nicholas McCrossin, from her first marriage. She divorced her second husband in 2010. She was a dedicated mother and a kind friend to many people. She loved animals and had three cats and a dog named Tigger. She also enjoyed traveling, hiking, and gardening.

Cause of Death and Memorial

Lynn McCrossin passed away on June 17, 2015 at her home in Rimrock, Arizona, two days after her 56th birthday. She had been diagnosed with cancer in 2014 and had undergone chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She was surrounded by her children and close friends who supported her during her battle with the disease. According to the Bangor Daily News, a celebration of her life was held at her estate residence on November 14, 2015. All contributions in her name were made to the American Cancer Society. She was remembered by her fans and fellow bodybuilders as an inspiration and a legend in the sport. She was preceded in death by her father and her dog Tigger.
