A Devoted Husband and Father
Mark McElrath is survived by his wife, Sydney McElrath, and their two children, Madelyn Avery McElrath (age 4) and Maximus Alan McElrath (age 1). He also leaves behind his parents, Alan and Trisha McElrath, his brother, Nick McElrath, and a large number of other loving family members and close friends.
Mark was a loyal spouse, an active parent, and a man of faith who lived a life motivated by a desire to know and follow the Lord in all he did. He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing and golfing.

Mark McElrath had been working as a special agent for the US Secret Service for the past six years. He was committed to protecting his country and serving with honor and integrity. He had a charismatic personality, and despite his large size, people gravitated toward him because of his positive attitude and kind smile.
Mark was a leader, a hard worker, and a loyal friend who was quietly intense. He also had a sharp sense of humor that lightened up any situation. He was respected and admired by his peers and superiors for his professionalism and dedication.
A Memorial Service to Celebrate His Life
A memorial service will be held to honor Mark McElrath’s life and legacy on December 29, 2022, at 11 AM. The ceremony will be presided over by Pastor John Scally at Emmanuel Church, 6434 Richfield Road, Flint, Michigan 48506. The family will be available to speak with visitors from 4 to 8 PM on December 28, 2022, at the Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road in Davison, Michigan 48423.
